Finally, events are happening again…or at least 2 in the near future that I plan to attend. That of course means a new dress. Not that I need one, but it’s been so long. So, I’m making a new dress. Not too much to show off yet, but here is the inspiration.
I wanted something simple this time and this fit the bill. Minimum trim, simple sleeves and something I haven’t done before, removeable cuffs.
The fabric is a piece that I have had for a bit. At least two years with the pandemic. One of events I plan to attend is up north and the weather in the spring can be unreliable, so the fabric is wool, but of a tropical weight. The fabric is a robin egg blue but doesn’t show up well in the photo.
